June 7th, 2022

President Milos Zeman is against the loosening ofcooperation within the Visegrad Four group, comprised of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, he told journalists after meeting his Hungarian counterpart Katalin Novak today. Zeman said he and Novak were interested in solidifying the V4. After meeting Novak, Zeman said Hungary was a guest of honour of the Czech Republic. He said he highly esteemed the two countries's friendship and Hungarian policy. "It respects national interests and does not succumb to foreign influences," Zeman said.
