President Milos Zeman's health condition is stable, Jitka Zinke, the spokeswoman for the Central Military Hospital (UVN) in Prague where the president was sent on Sunday, told CTK on Monday without elaborating. Zeman was transported to the UVN from the presidential manor in Lany near Prague shortly after 1pm on Sunday. The reasons for the hospitalisation were complications accompanying Zeman's chronic disease, his doctor Miroslav Zavoral, the UVN director said, adding that the president was at the hospital's intensive care ward. Zavoral did not release the exact diagnosis to the media since he did not have the patient's consent to do so. He said doctors knew exactly the diagnosis and this is why they were able to target the therapy as needed.
