Zeman has no serious troubles - spokesman on his hospitalisation

September 16th, 2021

President Milos Zeman's medical check-up in the Central Military Hospital (UVN) in Prague has not found any life-threatening problems as he only suffers from dehydration and minor exhaustion, his spokesman Jiri Ovcacek said on the Presidential Office website today. Zeman, 76, was hospitalised on Tuesday. As the Presidential Office declined to elaborate, there were speculations about his health condition. Before noon, Prime Minister Andrej Babis visited Zeman and he also met former president Vaclav Klaus, staying at the UVN as well.
