Younger people hospitalised with COVID more often than before

Quite young people have a serious course of the COVID-19 disease that requires hospitalisation more often now than in the past, while 6 percent of COVID patients at intensive care units (JIP) are under 40 in Czechia, Health Minister Jan Blatny told CTK today. One in ten with a serious course of COVID-19 is aged between 50 and 59 years, he added.
