Some 3,000 people, mostly teenagers and young adults, marched in the streets Warsaw on Friday demanding more government action against climate change, including a departure from fossil fuels and improving air quality. The demonstrators demanded that the Polish climate policy be conducted in line with the latest findings of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. They also urged the Polish parliament to announce a state of climate crisis and appealed for climate education at school.
