Year 2019 second warmest in Czechia since 1961 - meteorologists

The year 2019 has been the second warmest in the Czech Republic, after 2018, since 1961, with average temperatures reaching 9.5 degrees Celsius, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute reported on its website today. Temperatures throughout 2019 were 1.6 degrees Celsius higher than the long-term average. In 2018, the average temperature was 9.6 degrees.
