The leaders of Slovakia's governing coalition agreed at a coalition council session on Thursday that a working group will be set up to deal with a possible amendment to paragraph 363 of the Penal Code, which allows the Prosecutor-General's Office to annul criminal proceedings and charges pressed by the police and prosecutors. The group will consist of representatives of the coalition parties as well as experts on criminal law, with Justice Minister Maria Kolikova expected to act as head. The first proposals should be produced by Monday, and the governing coalition is set to discuss them at a coalition council session due to be held on the same day.
