Wizz Air to launch Bratislava-St. Petersburg flights

Bratislava airport will offer a new regular route to St. Petersburg, with Wizz Air operating flights to the Russian city four times a week starting June 1, Bratislava airport spokesperson Veronika Sevcikova said on Monday. "We welcomed Wizz Air's decision, as we'd been trying to acquire a route to St. Petersburg for a long time," Sevcikova said, adding that the Slovak public has also been interested in this. Wizz Air has been operating in Bratislava since 2016. It currently offers flights to six destinations from the Slovak capital. Three of them are in Ukraine, with one each in North Macedonia, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom.
