Head of the coalition We Are Family party Boris Kollar said on Friday that his party has blocked a government-approved amendment to the law on the protection, support and development of public health that aims to give more freedom to individuals who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or those who have themselves tested prior to entering restaurants or making use of various services. The amendment was originally meant to be dealt with in parliament on Friday via fast-tracked proceedings, but Kollar said he had decided to postpone the process to a later parliamentary session in July. According to We Are Family caucus head Peter Pcolinsky, We Are Family MPs will try to iron out the kinks in the legislation by then.
