Wave of new Omicron COVID cases to come next week

The coronavirus epidemic wave with predominant Omicron variant will peak in the two forthcoming weeks and various scenarios imply that hospitals may receive 500-900 new cases a day in the five, ten days to come, Czech Institute of Health Statistics and Information (UZIS) head Ladislav Dusek told CTK today.
