Water, air toxic emissions rise in Czech Rep, Spolana worst polluter

The volume of carcinogenic and hormonal system-unfriendly substances released within emissions and waste in the air and water in Czechia steeply rose in 2020, with the Spolana chemical plant being the worst polluter of all for the seventh consecutive year, the Arnika environmental group reported. Arnika registered an increased volume of released substances that are poisonous for water organisms, including cyanides in rivers.
