Vrbetice for Sputnik swap is nonsense, Babis says, trusts Hamacek

Czech PM Andrej Babis considers it nonsense that Deputy PM Jan Hamacek allegedly planned to swap Prague's information about the Vrbetice case for the Sputnik V anti-COVID vaccine in Moscow, Babis said on Czech Television today, adding that he trusts Hamacek. Citing its sources, Seznam Zpravy server on Tuesday wrote that Hamacek wanted to visit Moscow on April 19 with the aim to "swap an international scandal" related to Vrbetice for Russian supplies of the Sputnik V vaccine and the choice of Prague as the venue of a Russia-U.S. presidential summit.
