Vondracek says he saw president in hospital at his own request

Lower house head Radek Vondracek (ANO) said in his statement today that he had visited President Milos Zeman in the Central Military Office (UVN) in Prague on Thursday at the president's own request mediated to him by Presidential Office head Zdenek Mynar. Vondracek added he was convinced that the hospital and Zeman's doctors had been consulted on the visit. "I feel sorry for the entire situation, it was a mistake and I do understand that the UVN management is upset," Vondracek said, adding that he would like to apologise to the hospital director and the other doctors.
