Head of the parliamentary financial committee Marian Viskupic (SaS) confirmed for TASR on Tuesday that the coalition partners on Monday evening agreed on the draft state budget for 2022, claiming that the deficit should amount to 4.94 percent of Slovakias GDP and the draft should be dealt with by the Government on Thursday. Viskupic at the same time conceded that Parliament might adjust the draft budget in some way or other, but he noted that he doesnt expect the deficit to be increased, as the proposed figure is the highest one possible.
