Visa-free US travel for Poles from November 11 - president

Poles will be able to travel to the US visa free for up to 90 days starting November 11, President Andrzej Duda announced in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on Wednesday. Duda said that the date coincided with Poland's Independence Day, and called this "symbolic." He also thanked US President Donald Trump and US Ambassador in Poland Georgette Mosbacher for their roles in the lifting of US visas for Poles. Trump gave his consent to Poland's inclusion in the US Visa Waiver Program in early October, Mosbacher was a strong supporter of the move.
