Via Iuris: Slovak CCourt's verdict on referendum no reason to amend Constitution

The ruling of the Constitutional Court that a referendum on shortening Parliament's term in office is not in line with the Constitution is not a reason to amend the Constitution suddenly and without thought, stressed NGO Via Iuris in a statement on Friday. According to the organisation, frequent and ill-considered changes to the Constitution call into question its status as the fundamental and supreme law.
