V4 discuss climate protection in Budapest

Representatives of the Visegrad Group countries, Romania and Bulgaria discussed the European Commission's new "Fit for 55" catch-all climate change plan in Budapest on Tuesday, a government official said. The Fit for 55 package covers 17 amendments that will determine the bloc's CO2 emission targets for 2030, Attila Steiner, the state secretary for climate, energy policy and the development of the circular economy, told a press conference.
