US war veteran Earl Ingram, liberating Plzen in 1945, dies

US war veteran Colonel Earl Ingram, who was in the US units commanded by General George Patton liberating Plzen in May 1945 and regularly attended the Liberation Festival in the town since the 1990s, died on Monday at the age of 99 years, writer Jana Poncarova told CTK on Tuesday.
