US ambassador criticises Poland on LGBT issue

US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher has told the Wirtualna Polska internet portal that Poland is on the wrong side of history regarding LGBT rights, saying human rights are universal. Mosbacher said she had huge respect for Poland's religious tradition but argued that human rights are universal regardless of the dominant religion.
