University rectors lay flowers at Masaryk Memorial

Some 20 representatives of the Czech Rectors Conference (CKR) laid flowers and wreathes at the statue of Czechoslovak President Tomas Garrigue Masaryk at the Hradcanske namesti square to commemorate the national holiday marking Czechoslovakia's foundation on Monday. In the morning, representatives of TOP 09, the Social Democrats and some senators came to the memorial, too.
