Unions at Polish Post threaten strike over layoffs - daily

Postal workers are threatening a collective labour dispute as well as a strike over plans by Polish Post (Poczta Polska) to reduce employment by over 7,000 people, Rzeczpospolita daily said on Wednesday. Employees are demanding that the plan be abandoned and are giving the management board until Friday to meet this condition. Otherwise, they will announce a collective dispute, or a strike.
