UMB in Banska Bystrica opens Confucius Trade Institute

The Confucius Trade Institute was opened at Matej Bel University (UMB) in Banska Bystrica on Tuesday as the school launched its 28th academic year since its founding in 1992, a few months before Slovakia gained independence. According to UMB, the Confucius Trade Institute will provide a "unique opportunity" for its students, staff and the broader public to study Chinese under the guidance of experienced language teachers from China.
