Two people charged in Lesy SR case to be prosecuted in custody

Former head of state-owned forestry company Lesy SR Tomas K. and executive manager of a company engaged in wood businesses Lucia D. will be prosecuted in custody, the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday. Both were charged with bribery and money laundering by the National Crime Agency (NAKA) on June 4 in connection with a Lesy SR tender. According to the police, Tomas K. asked for a bribe in cash from Lucia D., for agreeing to sign framework agreements with the company that won the tender issued by Lesy SR.
