Two MPs expelled from session for not having face masks

March 2nd, 2021

Czech Chamber of Deputies chairman Radek Vondracek has again expelled two unaffiliated MPs, Lubomir Volny and Marian Bojko, from the lower house session for not wearing face masks and ignoring his order to do so. Vondracek expelled them from the session room for the same reason last month. Both MPs have long refused to wear face masks in the lower house, citing civic and political reasons for their stance.
