Two German military medics start helping with Covid in Prague

Two German military doctors started working in the Central Military Hospital in Prague (UVN) on Monday, helping their Czech colleagues fight coronavirus, and similar teams from the UK and the US will follow and help in the UVN too, Czech Defence Ministry spokesman Jan Pejsek has told CTK. The Texas and Nebraska National Guards members are scheduled to arrive in the Czech Republic in the middle of this week. The Czech military will engage more in curbing the epidemic, too. The government will decide today whether the numbers of soldiers deployed to help directly in hospitals and social care facilities will rise from 360 to 900.
