Twenty-eight people charged with info leaks from police files

State attorneys charged 28 people, including former Czech police and customs officers, in a case of extensive information leaks from police files today, Petr Sereda from the High State Attorney's Office in Olomouc has confirmed to CTK. The charged suspects include eight former police officers and former members of the Customs Authority and the General Inspection of Security Corps. The members of elite police units are implicated in abuse of power and trading in information from police databases.
