Tusk praises rule-of-law protests

Donald Tusk, the former European Council president who has returned to domestic politics to head the centrist Civic Platform (PO) once again, has expressed admiration for mass protests in Poland 'in defence of the rule of law.' At a press conference on Monday, Tusk expressed his gratitude and admiration for people who "had fought for dignity, sense, political order and morality in Poland, who had fought for free courts and constitution."
