The planned Global Logistics Industrial Park (GLIP) to be located in Kosice-Bociar could serve as a transshipment point for the so-called New Silk Road, with the potential to create between 5,000 and 10,000 new jobs, although the project would require support and a coordinated approach at all levels of state administration, said Kosice regional governor Rastislav Trnka on Tuesday. "The good news is that China has a vested interest in having one of the New Silk Road corridors terminate near Kosice.
