The Tripartite Council bringing together representatives of the outgoing Czech government, employers and trade unions refused all proposed restrictions targeting employees who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19, the council said on Twitter on Wednesday. It wrote that outgoing Prime Minister Andrej Babis had expressed his disapproval for making the vaccine mandatory. After a meeting of the Central Crisis Staff (UKS) on Monday, its chief and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek mentioned the proposal under which people would not be allowed to enter their workplace without proving they are free of the coronavirus infection first. Trade unions and business people criticised the suggested measure.
