The Prague Metropolitan Court will start dealing with the supposed subsidy fraud in the Capi hnizdo (Stork Nest) affair in which former prime minister Andrej Babis and his aide Jana Nagyova are prosecuted on September 12, court spokesman Adam Wenig told CTK today. Judge Jiri Sott dismissed the request for a preliminary hearing, servers Novinky.cz and SeznamZpravy wrote. Babis and Nagyova are charged with a subsidy fraud and harming EU financial interests. If convicted, they face up to ten years in prison. Both suspects denied the charges previously.
