Transpetrol: Russian oil supplies to Slovakia not contaminated

Oil supplies to Slovakia haven't been contaminated, state-run oil-transport operator Transpetrol has told TASR in connection with information in some media that chloride-contaminated oil was detected in a crude-oil pipeline leading from Russia. "Supplies in Slovakia are without any problems. We haven't recorded any qualitative or quantitative changes. Short-term contamination was registered in the northern branch of the pipeline, but the southern one, via which oil comes to Slovakia, is currently okay," the company said.
