Town hall fines hoisting of Czech-Roma flag

The town hall in Usti nad Labem has imposed a fine for the hoisting of a Czech-Roma flag on the occasion of International Roma Day, the website Romea.cz said on Wednesday. The 1,000 crowns must be paid by Miroslav Broz who put up the flag on the balcony of his flat last April. He posted a photo with the hoisted flag on Facebook. Broz wants to appeal the decision, Romea.cz said. The Usti nad Labem town hall has confirmed to CTK that it imposed the fine.
