Total of 86 pc of Slovakia's population took part in online census

A total of 4,844,007 inhabitants of Slovakia, i.e. 86 percent, took part in the online part of the national census that ended on March 31, Jasmina Stauder, spokesperson for the Census of Population, Houses and Apartments 2021 told a news conference on Thursday. The Statistics Office originally expected some 70 percent of the population to take part in the electronic form of the census.
