Torrential rain causes damage of 240 m crown in Liberec

The damage caused by torrential rain in Liberec on July 17 is estimated at nearly 240 million crowns, which is three times more than the preliminary estimate, Liberec Mayor Jaroslav Zamecnik (Mayors for Liberec Region) told CTK after talks with PM Andrej Babis (ANO) today. Zamecnik said Babis promised aid to the city. He said there would subsidies for the reconstruction of public property after natural disasters, especially declared by the Regional Development Ministry.
