Tibetan film-maker calls for Beijing Olympics boycott in Prague

Tibetan film director and political prisoner Dhondup Wangchen expressed fears of the situation in Tibet threatened with "cultural genocide" and called for boycott of the upcoming Beijing Olympics at a meeting in the Senate, the upper house of Czech parliament, today. In 2008, the Chinese regime imprisoned him for six years for his documentary Leaving Fear Behind on the Olympic Games in China. Before the Winter Olympics in Beijing, Wangchen is touring European countries calling for boycotting the games. He also presents his film Leaving Fear Behind.
