The appeals High Court in Prague upheld the ten-year prison sentence given to former Prague imam Samer Shehadeh for joining a terrorist group and financing terrorism. The court imposed an 11-year prison sentence on Samer's brother Omar and sister-in-law Fatima Hudkova was sentenced to six years. However, since the couple was prosecuted as fugitives and wanted by the police, the verdict was meted out in absentia.
