Szijjarto: Strengthening ties with India 'greatest success' in Hungarian foreign policy

January 16th, 2020

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, arriving in New Delhi on an official trip to India, said "making a superpower like India interested in Hungary's success has been one of the greatest achievements of Hungarian diplomacy in recent years". Hungary has managed to build strategic ties in several sectors with India, which he called "a military and political superpower". India's largest companies are investing in Hungary and creating jobs in the process, he said. "We'll announce new investments creating thousands of jobs [in Hungary] in the coming months," he said.
