Hungary wants the United Nations to designate a day of commemoration of the victims of Communist dictatorships, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said. "Communist dictatorships are a tragic part of the common history of mankind," he told a press conference. "These regimes incapacitated several hundreds of millions of people physically and psychologically and pushed generations into hopelessness," he said. "We cannot allow Communist crimes to be relativised around the world and we cannot yield to repulsive and unscrupulous attempts motivated by nostalgia to falsify history," Szijjarto said.
