Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has called it an "unprecedented gesture" that Bavarian authorities "have refused to give permission for the presence of Hungarian consuls" at the stadium in Munich where a Germany-Hungary football match is to be played on Wednesday night. Consuls are to assist citizens staying abroad, Szijjarto said on Facebook, adding that he had instructed staff at the Hungarian consulate general in Munich to "provide continuous information" in connection with the football event.
