Hungary is an active member of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and is committed to efforts making the world completely free of such weapons, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Thursday. Speaking after talks with OPCW head Fernando Arias in the Hague, Szijjarto said that massive illegal migration, an increasing threat of terrorism and fast technological development all contributed to a higher risk of hazardous chemical substances getting into the wrong hands. To eliminate risks it is necessary to destroy all chemical weapons in the world, Szijjarto said.
