Swiss president receives Caputova in Bern

Swiss President Ignazio Cassis has officially received his Slovak counterpart Zuzana Caputova with the highest honours on her official visit to Switzerland, TASR learnt on Thursday. The welcome ceremony took place on Federal Square in Bern.The Slovak head of state and Cassis then went to the Federal Palace, a building that houses both the government and parliament. Caputova will officially appear before government members. The presidents and delegations will then go to the Bernerhof, where they will hold a joint meeting. A gala dinner hosted by the Government will take place in the evening.
