Suwalki Gap safe thanks to cooperation with Lithuania, Nato says MoD

The Suwalki Gap is secure thanks to efficient cooperation between Polish, Lithuanian and Nato forces, Poland's defence minister said on Thursday. Mariusz Blaszczak, accompanying Polish President Andrzej Duda on an inspection of a Polish-Lithuanian Nato battalion in the Suwalki Gap area, said any endangerment of the gap by Russia would be dealt with by Polish, Lithuanian and Nato forces stationed on the Polish-Lithuanian border.
