Suspension of public masses due to coronavirus extended until March 31

The Slovak Bishops Conference (KBS) on Friday decided to extend the current suspension of public religious services due to coronavirus from March 23 to March 31. No public masses have taken place in Catholic churches in Slovakia since March 10, when KBS decided to suspend them for two weeks after being urged to do so by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and Slovakia's chief hygienist Jan Mikas.
