Up to 53 percent of companies in Slovakia have experienced a security incident, with larger companies more aware of the seriousness of cyber threats, according to a survey conducted by GAMO. Firms consider the biggest threats to be IT systems infected with unwanted software (69.5 percent), the internet and its weak security (47.5 percent) and phishing (45 percent). However, many dangers can be avoided by staff training, which 48 percent of companies consider to be the most important counter-measure.
