March 5th, 2021
The daily increases in Covid-19 cases have started to stabilise and if the situation improves, the strictest lockdown measures may be lifted, Czech Health Minister Jan Blatny told journalists on Friday. This may relate to restrictions on movement within a municipality. One can presume that the epidemic will start to slow down, Blatny said. However, there will be no massive relaxation, he added. Prime Minister Andrej Babis told the Chamber of Deputies on Thursday that people should not rely on the relaxation of the epidemic response measures after the current restrictions expire.
