A multi-billion euro investment programme is the Polish government's answer to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Poland's prime minister said on Monday. Mateusz Morawiecki said the Strategic Investment Programme, costing PLN 23 billion (EUR 5 billion), is focused on local and regional investment needs. The programme itself is part of the government's broader Polish Deal plan, which aims to revive the national economy after nearly two years of pandemic restrictions.
