Storm Sabine, also known as Ciara, hit Poland on Tuesday and damaged 250 buildings, including nearly 170 dwelling houses and hundreds of damaged trees, the State Fire Service (PSP) said on Wednesday. Spokesman for the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service, Paweł Fratczak said that 1,246 interventions were reported in the country. The highest number of call-outs were in Silesia province, southern Poland. No one was killed or injured, PSP added.
