Most industries in May approached the levels seen before the novel coronavirus pandemic in terms of revenues; with construction catching up significantly but the industry segment lagging behind the most, according to statistics on revenues in selected industries in May 2021 that were published by the Statistics Office on Monday. Although revenues increased year-on-year in all monitored sectors of the economy in May, only information and communications activities reached the pre-pandemic level. Industry fell short by almost 13 percent, with other sectors reducing the gaps to single digits. Construction was less than 3 percent down.
