May 10th, 2019
Industrial production posted a year-on-year increase of 7.3 percent in March 2019, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Friday. This was largely due to a 13.1-percent increase in supplies of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning and a 7-percent increase in industrial manufacturing, while the output of mining and quarrying was down 13.2 percent. "Seasonally adjusted industrial output in March 2019 grew by 1.2 percent on a month-on-month basis," said the Statistics Office.
