Statistics: Slovakia posted trade deficit of 146 Million euros in August

According to preliminary results, Slovakias total export of goods in August 2021 amounted to 6.4 billion, increasing by 0.5 percent year-on-year, the Statistics Office reported on Friday. Despite the slight year-on-year increase, total exports grew by more than 8 percent when compared to August 2019. The country recorded a negative trade balance of 146.2 million.
